Deviled Eggs

Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

  • 18 boiled eggs peeled, halved and deyolked
  • Yolk of 18 eggs
  • 4-5 Tbsp of coconut oil
  • 4-5 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1Tbsp fresh minced yellow onion
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder (raw would be too overpowering)
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. ground pepper
  • ½ tsp. coriander
  • ¼ tsp. cumin
  • ¼ tsp. ginger
  • ¼ tsp. turmeric
  • ¼ tsp. paprika
  • ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. lime juice

Instructions

  1. Add everything but the egg whites to a food processor and pulse until blended. Then add 6 egg white halves to bulk up the amount of filling. Fill remaining egg white halves with filling. Sprinkle the tops with a little basil paprika and cayenne (optional)
    And a tip:
  1. if you are transporting them-line the dish with a paper towel so they don’t slide around.
